Believe it or not, Kentucky Derby is a big deal in Bar Harbor. It's tons of fun, people dress up, wear crazy hats, do pub crawls and have wooden horse races across the village green.
So every year I try to make a few fun fascinators for people who are out and about.
This year I went a little crazy.
The birds are my favorites, this was the first one I made and she is so sweet in her little nest!
I mean... This little pink thing on her flower, I can't.
Here we have a big blue wire lily that wraps around your face while a silky butterfly hovers around above.
Something for the girl who's looking for something a little more sweet and simple.
And for the coup de grâce...
I call this one "Under the Sea" and it's just too ridiculous (and heavy) to sell, so I will have to rock it myself. Stay tuned...
